Bailey is the middle child from my oldest daughter. He came to us at 8 days of age. He calls us mom and dad, (no recollection of or contact with bio parents) he is not the typical middle one. He is a climber, runner, (doesn't really walk too often) he always wants to help everywhere he is, home, school,and with his siblings. He is in motion all the time. As a family we moved from NJ when he was 6 months old. He was diagnosed at 26 months of age with a left Optic Glioma, and has since been diagnosed with one on his right optic nerve. He started chemo in May 2010. He now is experiencing a hoarse voice, and has fingers that are curling inward toward the palm. Its a side effect of Vincristine. He is a typical boy, and just like my oldest son, with his personality, and actions. Sometime he acts too smart for his age, mostly he is just a normal 3 yr old little tyke. He has long white blond hair that he will not let us cut, no matter how many times we ask him (almost like Samson in the Bible). We adopted him in December 2008, and now he is ours. We always called him son, and referred to him as that as well. He is a night owl, and doesn't require a lot of sleep, (not adhd) he has sensory issues, but he is allowed to bounce, jump, bang things, etc to compensate for this.
