Main Diagnosis - Hypo-plastic left heart syndrome

Biography
Draven was born on 7/31/2008, everything seemed fine at first 4 hours after birth. He started to show distress with his oxygen saturation's. Draven was transferred to a bigger hospital where he was diagnosed with hypo-plastic left heart syndrome, which means the whole left side of his heart was underdeveloped and didn't pump blood. We had three options; surgery route, heart transplant, or take him home and do nothing. Draven was a good candidate for the surgeries, so he had his first open heart surgery at 6 days old, He had a second open heart surgery at 5 months old. His progress was good, he was developing well. but in November 2010 he went into heart failure, Dravens only option now is a heart transplant. He was listed in june 2011, and has been going to chemotherapy treatments to bring down his antibody levels and immune system. This is to make sure he wont reject if he does receive a heart. It is September 2011 and we are still currently waiting for Dravens new heart.
Everything written above is a reason for anybody to be sad but Draven loves life, he is extremely happy and fights through everything with a smile on his face. He is friendly to everybody he meets and he inspires others with his triumphs.

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
