Biography

In June of 2009 I was involved in an automobile accident with my two
children in the car. Jesus took home Parker and Haley this day. Parker was 5 and
Haley was 3, about to be 4. I almost didn't make it out of the accident, but God
saved me through and through this I know that he's not done with me yet. I am
glad to be here with my best friend and husband, Craig. We miss Parker and Haley
more than words can say, but the grace of our God gets us through each day. We
found out in January of 2010 that we were expecting. We were surprised and
excited, and knew this was a miracle from God! We went to find out the sex of
this precious baby and while the ladies were doing the ultrasound, we could tell
something was wrong. They asked me to go empty my bladder in the middle of the
ultrasound...when I went in the bathroom I just cried out to God asking Him to
take away whatever the lady was seeing on that ultrasound. I went back out and
they continued the ultrasound and confi
rmed that our baby GIRL has spina bifida. We had to go to many specialists to
watch her progress during the pregnancy. The doctor's mentioned that we might
want to look into abortion because our baby girl would be a "life change" for us
and a strain on our marriage, and that me (the mom) wouldn't be able to care for
her because of my back injury. They stated that she probably won't walk, and if
she does she would use a walker or crutches and that she would be able to pee
and poop on her own, along with lots of other things...Craig and I believe that
God blessed us with this precious baby girl Ellington. We don't believe in
abortion and so we just prayed hard along with all of our prayer warriors for
God to heal Ellington. God has just done that. Ellington is 7 months old. She is
peeing and pooping on her own. Her bladder and kidneys look as a normal baby.
Her legs are moving and seem to be strong! She WILL walk and run! Worst case is
she might have braces on her legs, but we
are praying hard for God to heal completely where this won't be necessary! God
is the mighty physician and we put all trust and hope in Him alone. We PRAISE
HIM for all He has done with Ellington and all He is still going to do!
