He spent the frost 4 mo this of his life in the hospital. At 3 weeks old he
developed a life threatening intestinal infection called NEC and had surgery to
remove 35 cm. Of his small intestines and have a colostomy bag placed. At 3
months of age he underwent his 1 st open heart surgery. At 3 1/2 months Nathan
had surgery to reattach his intestines and have a liver biopsy. Nathan came home
from the hospitals when he wad 4 months old with a feeding tube thru his nose
into his stomach as he was to week to bottle feed.

When Nathan was 6 months old he coded during a  routine cath lab visit and was
admitted to the PICU. Nathan coded 2 more times that evening and went into
heart, liver and kidney failure and was not expected to live. 4 weeks later
Nathan was still in the hospital and had his 2nd open heart surgery. Nathan went
home 2 weeks after that surgery.

When Nathan was 9 months old he had surgery to place a gtube directly into his
stomach and to have his crossed eyes fixed,

At 10 months old Nathan underwent his 3 rd open heart surgery and was able to
come home after a 1 month hospital stay. Since then Nathan had enjoyed being a
kid and his siblings have enjoyed having him home. He is a true miracle and such
a blessing to our family. Nathan is such a happy boy, taking everything in
stride and living life to the fullest. He love to play with his toys, go
