Biography
My name is Jayden W, born on March 8, 2007. Weighed 5 lbs.15 oz. I am the youngest of 4 childrens. Anthony, Myah, and Lauren. Lauren, who thinks she's my mommy, but I keep telling her I have a mommy, and she's big sissy. My mom always says, I'm the family's unexpected lil blessing and is purpose driven; "to be driven by God's purpose not my own". My fight for life started during birth when I stop breathing, and had to be resuscitated twice during delivery. It was then the doctors found I was born with VSD, ASD, and partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection, a congenital heart disease. The VSD has closed, ASD did not. On June 3, 2010 I traveled with my family to Boston, Massachusetts to Children's Hospital where I had open heart surgery on June 8,2010 by Dr.Pedro del Nido. Mommy says," Jayden, you have so much love in your heart, the doctor had to repair it so the love wouldn't fall out". Please keep me in your prayers. I have a long journey ahead, but I' m a fighter and I know I have a purpose in life. Don't forget to check back for updates on my progress that my family will be posting.
Jayden has since been diagnose with arrhythmia, supraventricular tachycardia and is currently on a heart medication 3 times day to help control this condition. He has been hospitalize twice since his heart surgery, recently on Christmas day 12-25-10 for 4 days. Jayden will eventually need a heart cath, but doctors want to wait until he reaches about 65lbs, because they feel it is too risky right now.
