Biography
Samuel Adams! Samuel was 3 years old when he was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on November 10, 2009 and he is my super hero. He has a little brother named Jack. He was diagnosed 2 weeks after Jack was born. We found out kind of a crazy way he actually got the H1N1 flu virus while I was in the hospital giving birth to Jack. The motrin broke down his platelets so much he couldn't rebuild them because of the cancer and thats how we found out. So it was a blessing for us because they said it could of been months before we would of found out it. So now we are just taking each day it comes. He is a very brave warrior. He has done very well with all the changes. We explained the cancer to Sam on level he could understand we tell him that he has bad germs in his body and we have to give him good germs to fight them and get them out. He has done very well with this explaination.
Sam entered maintenance finally on 12-28-10, which is suppose to consist of a spinal tap every 3 months, a daily chemo pill, a monthly chemo push (vicristine) via his port, steroids 5 days out of each month and an extra chemo pill on 3 Thursdays a month! He will continue this schedule as long as there is no problems until our end date of chemo which is March 11, 2013!! We have a long way to go but we have came so far!! We are tough! I hope God lays his hands on him and sends him through this battle without complications and we become cancer survivors! Come follow us on our journey! Hopefully through our experiences we can touch the lives of others and hopefully find a cure!! God bless! :)

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
